The Latino Lawyers Association of Queens County was founded on April 16, 1997, with the purpose of promoting the general welfare and legal rights of the Latino community by providing a voice for the community, and by providing information, guidance and education. The Association has been dedicated to advancing opportunities for Latino attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students. From its inception, the organization has also worked to address the critical legal and social issues facing the Latino community. Over the years, it has grown into a network of dedicated professionals committed to advocacy, mentorship, and representation within the legal system.
