Ricardo Rengifo is a 1988 graduate of The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English and Spanish Literature. He continued his education at St. John’s Law School where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1991. While in law school, Mr. Rengifo interned for Justice Fred T. Santucci, Justice of the Supreme Court, Queens County.
Since graduating from law school, Mr. Rengifo has worked in private practice. He started his legal career as an associate for the New York Law firm of Jeffrey Samel and Associates in the area of personal injury defense. In 1996, Mr. Rengifo formed his own law firm in Elmhurst with a focus in the area of civil litigation and personal injury. In 1998, he formed an alliance with the firm of Morton Povman, P.C. Mr. Rengifo now has offices in Elmhurst and Forest Hills. Mr. Rengifo is admitted to the New York State bar, and the United States District Court, Southern and Eastern District of New York.
